WHAT THE CLIENT NEEDED:
In 2014 Atwood Design Systems invited me to develop a site that he had designed for TamarkinCo.com, a firm of architect and real estate developer Cary Tamarkin. The client needed to convert the site from Abode Flash to HTML5 in order to make it accessible to users of iPhones and iPads. TamarkinCo wanted to preserve the original design and the functionality provided by Flash. In addition, he requested the ability to add content to the site independently.
WHAT I DELIVERED:
The main goal for this project was to deliver a site that would respect the original design as much as possible. This was accomplished using a combination of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and J-Query. I converted the Flash intro page with JavaScript. In order to mimic the original functionality of the carrousel on the Portfolio page, I customized a j-Query plugin for WordPress. The photo slider in the single project pages was also converted using a J-Query plugin. The site is built in WordPress to allow the client to update content independently.
